American Family Care Opens New Facility

 
 American Family Care recently opened its twentieth facility at Greystone. The new clinic is next to the YMCA near the intersection of 280 and highway 119. The clinic’s ribbon cutting ceremony and grand opening took place Monday, January 12th. It was a cold day, but a nice crowd still showed up for the ceremony.
The facility has the capability for three full time doctors. The clinic offers services such as: family medicine, occupational medicine, urgent care, internal medicine, on-site x-ray, and an in house lab for blood work. The clinic is open seven days a week from 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. There is a also a U-Save Pharmacy located within the building which is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. The pharmacy is open to the public, accepts prescriptions from most physicians, and honors most prescription plans. You can also save time and money by easily transferring your prescription to U-Save Pharmacy. There is even a drive-thru window available. There is also a Branch of Renasant Bank located inside the facility. The bank is open Monday through Thursday from 8:30 to 5:00, and Fridays from 8:30 to 5:30.
American Family Care first opened in 1982 in Birmingham by Dr. Bruce Irwin. The company’s model of putting the patient first has made it an overwhelming success.
